Persian Empire Premium Saggi-Arak is a refined Canadian interpretation of the traditional Persian spirit, crafted by distilling sultana raisins. This aromatic arak offers a sweet yet subtle undertone with hints of raisins, making it a popular choice for spring and summer enjoyment. Best served cold, it pairs excellently with lamb kebab, a dollop of tzatziki, and basmati rice. Additionally, it can be used as a replacement for vodka in various cocktails, adding an exotic twist.     

 

The nose presents aromatic notes of white flowers, raisins, black licorice, and fresh herbs. On the palate, it is medium-bodied and semi-sweet, with flavors of raisin, anise, and herbs. For an authentic experience, adding a dash of water is recommended.
